If you are looking for a guinea pig please look past the pet stores and consider adopting a rescue pig!! These are guinea pigs sourced from many different places including private surrenders and those from the RSPCA.
A small guinea pig shelter that I run by myself in Bundaberg. I pick up unwanted guinea pigs from the local area, as well as abused, sick and injured pigs and rehabilitate them for new homes. If you are considering getting a guinea pig please look past the pet stores and adopt a rescue pig instead!! All rescue guinea pigs come wormed and de-flead. If you are interested please send us an email! Remember, they may be 'rodents' but guinea pigs are NOT disposable. They should not be used just as a child's 'trial' pet and often end up costing almost as much as a small dog per week. Remember you need grain, fresh food and vegies and necessary hygiene products in order to have a healthy, happy guinea pig! :) Anyway, enough of our ramblings...if you are interested please check out our pictures to see current guinea pigs available for adoption.
